Teaming up with a fellow classmate "Tonya Joe Dollente" to mix a song out of Native Element's catalog of music that they've recorded at San Francisco State University. Our final consisted of mixing a song out of the large library of music either in the analog domain or the digital domain and have a good mix by the designated time limit. By teaming up with Tonya we were allowed an entire hour to mix a certain part of the record or the entire record. We went ahead and took the challenege to mix the entire song in an hour! It was a breeze and so fun mixing that we had a solid base within the first 15mins! We of course ran out of time to sprinkle salt & pepper on the mix as we both envisioned. Having touched every instrument and fined tuned them to breath and be heard in the entire mix we were pleased with the results we had! We knew we could've done more if we had an extra hour better yet a couple of hours to utilize tape delays, fades, fader rides and so fourth. But at the end John Barsotti really liked our mixed and pointed out the things that we did that he especially liked! Cheers to my last final of the Fall 2016 semester!
